In 2012, the Commission culturelle interjurassienne (CCIJ) allowed a travel grant to two young illustrators : Léandre Ackermann and Céline Meyrat.
From 18 June to 17 September, Léandre Ackermann traveled in Israel. Armed with her notebooks and pencils, the young woman has approached people, asking them to show her an object that would be representative of their present life. She gathered thus, by drawing, a collection of some twenty portraits which illustrate aspects of israeli society.
Back in the Jura, L chose to carry on her collection. In this way, some ten narratives from the Jura blend in with the israeli encounters...
