History seen through the eyes of objects
Objects are material documents in their own right. When questioned, they bear witness to events, developments, uses and so on. A ‘trigger object’, taken from the reserves, introduces the theme.
Choice of one to three themes from among : Gallo-Romans and Merovingians; religious history; the French Revolution; the Jura Question; the two world wars; iron mining; the landscape; the image of a region, etc.
OBJECTIVES
- to experience the ‘study’ of an object, the pleasure of learning in a different way
- to question, hypothesise and verify, infer, deduce and create links
- to illustrate a sequence in the history of the Jura
